Healix insured patients

Healix members can use their policy for eligible podiatry care at the Foot & Ankle Centre. Please arrange approval with Healix before attending.

What you need to know

Contact Healix before your appointment to request funding for your podiatry care.
Healix does not usually require treatment codes, but ISC codes are listed below in case they are requested.
Ask Healix for a claim reference and letter of guarantee. The letter should include the authorisation code we need when billing Healix for your care.
Email your policy number, claim reference and authorisation code to Email reception before your appointment.
Bring your Healix membership details and photo ID to your appointment.
While The Foot and Ankle Centre can accept self-referrals, your insurance provider may require a GP or consultant referral before you attend.
Contact Healix directly if you have any doubt about your policy coverage, restrictions, excess or benefit limits.

Healix may fund podiatry treatments and orthotic devices where required, but cover depends on your individual policy.
If Healix sets a fixed funding amount and your care exceeds that allowance, you will need to self-fund the remaining balance.
If Healix does not cover any consultation, treatment, device or excess charge, The Foot & Ankle Centre will invoice you directly.

Contact Healix before booking or attending and request approval for podiatry care at The Foot & Ankle Centre.
Ask Healix to confirm your policy excess, any treatment restrictions and whether orthotics or medical devices are included.
Give Healix the relevant ISC code below if they request a code for your consultation or treatment.
Send your policy number and authorisation code to the clinic so we can bill Healix on your behalf.
